Hi, I’m Rachel and thank you for participating in this short yoga class created especially with runners and athletes in mind. A Yoga practice is the perfect complement to your running and training practice because it will help you get stronger and faster. You will notice yourself gain physical/mental stamina, mobility and mindfulness. Yoga is a total body strengthening workout that increases your range of motion and it strengthens muscle groups that may be neglected when running. A huge bonus to adding yoga to your training is that the mental benefits help you stay focused when things get challenging and you learn to breath mindfully. All these benefits help you to stay motivated, healthy, and less prone to injury. Let’s get started!
