House Yoga Classes
Indoor yoga classes are held inside “Inner-Action Dance” at 2622 Washtenaw Ave, Ypsilanti, MI. Doors open 15 minuets prior to class and will shut when class begins. Class will begin at the posted start time.
We meet on the east side of Sugarbush Park between Yellowstone Drive and Green Road. You can park on Yellowstone Drive.

|Experience House Yoga’s signature flow! “It makes you feel like you’re at home within your body.” This class is perfect for runners and athletes as it promotes recovery. Develop muscular strength, flexibility, balance and reduce the risk of injury. It helps you improve your mental focus and breathing efficiency. Enjoy sixty minuets of breath, movement and mindful relaxation. This class begins with a gentle and welcoming introduction where students are encouraged to become present and connect with their breath. Class will then move into a warm up flow giving you time to set an intention for love and kindness and to recognize where any areas of tension reside in your body. We will then move into the main sequence of class where all postures are held and explained for at least 3 breaths. You will then be led to move through the flow 1-2 more times breath to movement. Yin postures are to follow allowing the body to cool down and prepare for rest. Classes end with a final meditation and closing as a group.|
SLOW FLOW YOGA
|Postures are held to find a mind body connection the first time through then the practice will move into a flow of breath to movement giving it a synchronized dance feel. Move, breathe and stretch between poses. Modifications will be provided for all levels of practice.This class is beginner friendly.|
SLOW FLOW & YIN
|Practice is slow, warm and meditative. Postures are held at the beginning of class for a slow meditative flow before moving into the Yin portion of practice. Yin postures a held for 3-5 minuets to get into the deep connective tissues between the muscles and the fascia throughout the body. This practice increases circulation in the joints and improves flexibility. Modifications will be provided for all levels of practice.This class is beginner friendly.|
CHILLY SLOW FLOW
|Slow flow vinyasa with a chilly weather twist! Practice begins with a simply flowy sequence to warm up up the body for colder weather. After warming up, postures are held to find a mind body connection the first time through then the practice will move into a flow of breath to movement giving it a synchronized dance feel. Move, breathe and stretch between poses. Modifications will be provided for all levels of practice. This class is beginner friendly.|
SLOW MEDITATIVE FLOW
|Experience warmth and comfort during this yoga practice. Turn inward, slow things down to enjoy the connection of breath and movement as mediation. You will be guided to focus on your breath and how your body moves with each inhalation and exhalation. This practice promotes calmness, clarity, recovery, and healing. Modifications will be provided for all levels of practice. This class is beginner friendly.|
|Experience variances in intensity and complexity each week. Practice unique transitions and challenge your body and mind in ways that build strength. Modifications will be provided for all levels of practice. Relax and rejuvenate at the end of each practice with some well deserved Yin postures.|
